Hello!

I am Ananya Gupta, and I am originally from Nepal. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Human-Centered Computing Department at Clemson University in the United States of America. My current goal is to build a comprehensive Nepali dictionary in order to create a solid foundation for getting computers to understand the Nepali Language. I realized that there are very few Nepali words in Wiktionary. Therefore, I am developing a standard word entry template to add words to Nepali Wiktionary so that we have complete information about each word which is important when getting computers to understand Nepali.

I noticed that you have been actively contributing to Nepali Wiktionary and I would like to know if you would like to help out in this long-term endeavor. Information about my vision for this project can be found at https://nepalinlp.org/ and https://nepalinlp.org/category/wiktionary/. I have also created a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/446813650585729/) that will be our discussion or forum area for this initiative. I would be happy to collaborate with you on making Nepali Wiktionary more resourceful and structured so that we can build the foundation for doing natural language processing in Nepali.
